Liz Keating
Liz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from Western Washington University. She is a seasoned product designer with over 20 years of experience specializing in surface and diving gear.
Her career in the outdoor industry includes designing dive gear for Deep See and kayaking PFDs and accessories for Stohlquist WaterWare, followed by 16 years with Aqua Lung. During her time there, Liz progressed through roles in industrial design, product development management, and senior design, developing scuba soft goods, dive and surface drysuits, thermal undergarments, footwear, and accessories for recreational, commercial, public safety, and military markets.
Today, as Senior Designer at Whites Drywear, Liz leads product development from concept through production, bringing expertise in design, materials, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and quality control. Her work includes involvement in developing new patented drysuit technology and adapting existing drysuit patents into new models, helping advance the company’s product offerings. As an experienced diver, she combines technical knowledge with firsthand understanding of the demands placed on dive and surface gear.
Liz’s practical, user-focused approach and commitment to innovation and problem-solving help create high-performance products that deliver the durability, comfort, and reliability users expect in demanding environments.
