How do I find the right size and fit in a drysuit?
For the best fit, we recommend trying on a drysuit at a store in your area. During the fitting, it is important to wear appropriate undergarments for the conditions you will be using the drysuit in. Please reference our size charts for guidance on what size(s) you will likely fit.
Can I customize my drysuit?
Most drysuit models are available to order as custom drysuits. Made to Order (MTO) drysuits allow you to modify the features while Made to Measure (MTM) drysuits allow for a custom fit and to modify features. A Whites Drywear dealer in your area can provide guidance and assistance with placing your order for a custom drysuit.
Our Fusion Drysuit models offer a great alternative to ordering a MTM drysuit. The highly flexible outer layer stretches to conform to the shape of the body, fitting like a custom fit drysuit.
What options can I choose for my drysuit?
Made to Order (MTO) Drysuits and Made to Measure (MTM) Drysuits allow for custom features like:
- Silicone or Polytex seals

How do I get the longest life out of my drysuit?
Proper cleaning and storage are essential to the longevity of your drysuit. We suggest reading through your drysuit manual for care specific to your model. Below are some general tips.
- Rinse your drysuit in fresh water after use and allow to dry completely before storing.
- GEAR AID Silicone Grease, or similar product, may be applied to PU zippers to fight against cracking and drying. PU zippers should have the dock lubricated regularly. GEAR AID Zipper Lubricant, or similar product, should be applied to brass zipper teeth after each use.
- Lubricating the seals with GEAR AID Seal Saver or a similar product will protect and condition the seals, preventing oxidation and deterioration. For lubrication, an unscented baby powder, talc or cornstarch are great options to ease the process of putting on the seals.
- Store your drysuit in a cool, dry place; away from direct sunlight, electric motors, and fumes (chlorine, diesel or gas).
- Be careful not to fold the zipper back on itself during storage. Always store the drysuit for extended periods hanging from the legs. Store a PU zipper in the closed position. Store a brass zipper in the open position.
Do you repair drysuits?
Yes we do, but we only work on our own products. All repairs must be submitted through a current Whites Drywear account. We do not work directly with the public. We have authorized repair centers who are trained to service Whites Drywear drysuits and work direct with the public.
Can I replace the outer layer of my fusion drysuit?
Yes. The Fusion Drysuit is a modular design, allowing for the outer layer to be replaced or upgraded to another model. The RapidZip Technology assists with easily changing out the outer layer. Please contact a dealer in your area to order a new outer layer, also referred to as the “skin”.
