Doug’s passion for diving began in 1993 on the East Coast of Canada. From there, he followed his passion west, working in dive shops along the way and progressing to Dive Master.

Looking to expand his experience, Doug completed training with DiveSafe International and transitioned into the commercial diving industry. He continued working in the industry for 9 years. In 2010, he joined the Whites Manufacturing team, beginning a career that would span through the company’s acquisition by Aqua Lung.

Over the years, Doug gained valuable experience across the dive industry, working with Ocean Equipment and Ocean Technology Systems. In 2025, his journey brought him back to Whites Drywear, where he continues to bring decades of diving experience, industry knowledge, and a genuine passion for the dive community to the team.

From recreational diving to commercial operations and dive equipment, Doug’s career has been shaped by a lifelong connection to the water and a commitment to the people and products that support those who work and explore beneath the surface.
