This unique position combines purchasing, procurement coordination, and marketing support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will help ensure materials, finished goods, and inventory are properly sourced and managed while also supporting marketing initiatives, trade shows, social media, and customer communications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities and can balance both operational and creative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Purchase raw materials, fabrics, components, and production supplies used in manufacturing
  • Purchase finished goods and resale products from domestic and international suppliers
  • Issue, track, and manage purchase orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding lead times, shortages, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate incoming shipments with logistics and receiving departments
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP system
  • Source new suppliers and obtain competitive pricing quotations
  • Assist with inventory planning and supplier management
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support operational efficiencies

 

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate social media content and digital communications
  • Update website content, product information, and promotional materials
  • Support trade shows, events, sponsorships, and dealer programs
  • Assist with photography, video content, and marketing materials
  • Support email marketing and customer communications
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop promotional materials and product support documents
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all platforms
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets and content libraries

Qualifications

  • Previous purchasing, procurement, marketing, or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing, wholesale, or production environment considered a strong asset
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems, spreadsheets, and inventory software
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software is an asset
  • Photography, video editing, or content creation experience is beneficial
  • Experience working with international suppliers and logistics is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
